Tabletop Resin would have to be the most sought-after product as this is what will give your table or artwork the final finish, and we require it to be perfect. Resinzwood Tabletop Resins are for Tabletops, Bar tops, Benchtops, Artwork, Coasters, and Jewellery. Our resin is second to none, with two options available. Firstly, our Resinzwood Tabletop resin Ultra Fast is perfect for people who do not have 100% dust-free workshops, as this resin will be set up and cured within four hours. Not only is this resin highly sought after for these workshops, but Resinzwood Ultra Fast is becoming the go-to product for finishing all projects from table and bar tops to artwork due to its impressive capabilities. We have the fastest cure time and the highest UV additives possible, but most importantly, you will get a glass finish every time that will fully cure to be the most scratch-resistant of all Table top Resins on the market today. An added bonus is we make this product right here in New Zealand.

Then we come to what this particular tutorial is about: our Resinzwood Crystal Clear TabletopTabletop Resin resin, our new and improved imported version made to our specifications by a leading company based in China that produces some of the best epoxies on the planet. Resinzwood Crystal Clear Tabletop resin is a product that has a semi-low viscosity, making it easy to pour and self-level without a huge amount of fuss. It has a working time of around 30 minutes compared to Ultra Fast, with a working time of ten to fifteen minutes max, pending room temperature. This particular resin is a little softer and takes longer to cure than the ultra-fast resin fully, but it is a product that is loved by many people across the globe, being used for all forms of finishing tables and bar tops to artwork. It is favored by artists crafting coasters and other small cast / molded products as well.

METHOD 1. Pre-heat the container of resin by placing it in a bucket with hot water for 5 to 10 mins

2. Exactly measure parts A and B to the ratio above

3. pour part B into a mixing container, then add part A.

4. Mix for 5 minutes clockwise and counterclockwise, scraping the sides of the container so the product is well blended. Always use a clean stick for mixing.

5. Let the resin stand for 5 to 10 minutes to release air bubbles.

6. Once you pour Resinzwood Crystal Clear Tabletop resin, use a gas torch or heat gun to remove any remaining air bubbles. After about 5 to 10 minutes, you can do this again.

All Spec data sheet info can be found on resinwoodtablesnz.com in our How To section.

Note: 1. By adding Part B to the container before Part A, you are mixing in, ensuring that all resin molecules come into contact with the hardener. This eliminates the risk of having uncured resin in your project.

2. This product loves heat, so once you have done your pour, it is a good idea to have a higher room temperature.

3. It is best to have some air movement in the room. Avoid blowing a fan directly over the resin; just circulating air in the room is a good practice.

4. We are entirely available via email!
