This is a tender subject to touch on, as the other company here in NZ, along with the person's partner, made unfounded slanderous comments about me. The products that you see on Trademe and the likes are very shy about releasing any info about the manufacturers. Still, Amazon is a big player in this market, purchasing thousands of tons a year that it supplies to a vast array of offshore markets.
So, by making this step, what is stopping people from trying to save a few bucks by importing directly from our manufacturers? Nothing really, but in all honesty, they are a B2B manufacturer that is not about to ruin the serious tonnage the other company imports for a bit of chump change. Then there are the costs of importing licences, shipping costs, GST, duties, port destination fees, and all the other stresses none of you see. Besides all of that, we are now officially Crekoat NZ Division, with all the Trademarks and agreements in place and all the registered domains.
Future Pricing of Epoxy Resins in NZ
As epoxy resins are petroleum-based, global prices are slowly rising in this difficult marketplace. We are gradually seeing slight increases here and there as we all navigate these troubling times, but you will see subtle changes with the products we sell that will only increase to greater savings in the long run over the coming year. It all comes down to volumes and partnerships, and those will be the difference as we all move forward, but I can assure you all that our prices will not be increasing.

Will Epoxy Resin Prices Escalate
Generally speaking epoxy resin prices have escalated across the globe as all epoxies are pertrolleum based. Looking forward Resinzwood Limited aims to maintain current pricing levels for the interim, but with the vision I have had from the start it is not all about profit margins. I am more focussed on lowering prices where we can to better serve the home handyman and DIYer as well as resin artists across the our land of creative artisans. This may seem fool-hearty to some folk as we need to survive as well but the fact is we are all here for a short time, not a long time, so leave more than you take is my way of thinking.
