This Colour Passion Top Cell White tutorial is merely to give you a look into the possibilities of what
you can craft using the Colour Passion Top Cell White. Primarily, Top Cell white is used to create lacing effects to craft waves in ocean scenes or to bloom when making coasters or jewellery items. The reactive base here is titanium, which causes the cells to split. This effect can be achieved with most resin types, with the Passionart 1:1 ratio Art Craft Resin being the most popular choice.
Creating stunning lacing effects for wave formation has never been easier to master. When you create cells to represent waves or water motion, it becomes more realistic by layering multiple layers on top of one another. This gives a true 3D effect. The other keystone product you will use in your artistic resin art is the Base Cell White, which creates stunning cell effects that penetrate from the lower or mid layers, typically achieved with dirty pouring.
As you will see in the video below, Karren pours the Top Cell White in a thin line along the back of another clear resin line, even though there is already a layer of clear resin. This allows the white to glide over the top of the layer below. Let the previous layer tack up a bit, then have the line of clear flow nicely over the top. Once cured, you can repeat the process to craft 3D effects, as seen in the image above. You can mix this up by creating a layered effect with the Top Cell White, then a deeper or lighter layer of blue, for example, and another layer of Clear and Colour Passion Top Cell White. Typically, in my big ocean tables, I repeat this process up to 10 times to achieve the desired effect.
