Lazy Susan Bearing Cast Aluminium frame 12mm thick, weighing up to 1.7kg, with a measurement from 120mm up to 992mm, 300mm outside diameter. These Lazy Susan bearings are recommended for Lazy Susan tops of up to 1200mm in diameter. This is a high-quality bearing that is not noisy, unlike some of the cheaper pressed-steel Lazy Susan bearings on the market, which are suitable for both inside and outside use. When using outdoors or in a wet environment, please spray the bearing with CRC or silicone spray to protect it from the elements.
These Lazy Susans were designed to carry the load of larger displays and turntables. The top and bottom rims of the swivels have polymer inserts which cushion glass, granite or similar surfaces and provide a 'grip' to hold these turntables in place without the need for mechanical fasteners. There is no need to craft a base as the bearing will sit very well on all flat surfaces. There is no need for a base; this Lazy Susan can sit directly on a table or flat surfaces.
Using around Sea-salt Spray
If you are using around Salt spray areas, the Aluminum frame and ball bearings may corrode, making our Warranty Void. It is recommended that the lazy Susan be rotated once a week to keep them running freely.
See the load ratings for all bearings listed below; a 2mm offset between the inner and outer rings allows the bearing to spin freely, alleviating rubbing.
- 120 - 250mm = 50kg
- 300mm = 150kg
- 350mm = 180kg
- 400mm - 450mm = 300kg
- 500mm to 800mm = 350 kg
Note: No holes are drilled in the outer ring for permanent mounting, so please remove the polymer inserts and bore through for mounting screws.
