Crekoat 1001 Art Resin (TDS) Technical Data Sheet information. Resin Wood Tables NZ has taken on the distribution of Crekoat products in New Zealand as an alternative to our current High Quality Passionart and Art Craft resins. The main difference here is the level of UV additives that we have added to our products...

Technical Data Sheet

  • Product Name: High Transparency 1:1 Rigid Craft Resin Adhesive
  • Product model: Yellow-resistant ART1001 epoxy resin
  • Product indication: Casting for various handicrafts

Product Features:

Environmentally friendly rigid epoxy resin crystal AB adhesive can cure at room temperature or under heat, with moderate viscosity, resistance to yellowing, colourless transparency, no bubbles, and strong adhesion

Product physical properties

Model: ART1001-A  / ART1001-

  • Colour: Clear liquid
  • Viscosity at 25°C: 1500-2000 mps; / 200-400 mps
  • Storage duration at 25°C: /12 months.

Application process:

  • Ratio: A:B = 100:100 (volume ratio
  • Curing conditions: 100 g at room temperature for 1-2 hours to achieve surface dryness, followed by 30 hours of curing to reach hardness, or 60°C for 120 minutes
  • The products to be filled must be kept dry and clean
  • Before use, first inspect Agent A for sedimentation and thoroughly stir it to ensure uniform mixing
  • Measure the quantities according to the specified ratio and ensure accurate weighing. Please note that the mixing ratio is based on volume rather than weight. After mixing agents A and B, thoroughly stir to achieve uniformity to prevent incomplete curing
  • After thorough mixing, promptly proceed with the adhesive pouring and ensure the mixed adhesive is used within the recommended application time
  • After perfusion, the adhesive solution will gradually seep into the gaps of the product. If necessary, perform secondary perfusion or adhesive dripping
  • During curing, maintain a clean environment to prevent impurities or dust from falling onto the surface of the uncured adhesive

Post-curing properties

  • Hardness: Shore D>75
  • These products must be stored in a light-protected, sealed container under conditions of 25°C and relative humidity <70%
  • Since the B dose of this product is prone to deterioration due to absorption of moisture, the packaging container must be tightly sealed immediately after use
  • After mixing, the mixture will begin to gradually solidify, with its viscosity progressively increasing and releasing partial heat
  • The higher the amount of adhesive mixed, the faster the reaction will occur, and the curing rate will also increase, potentially accompanied by significant heat release. It is essential to control the amount of adhesive mixed per batch, as the accelerated reaction shortens the usage time. The mixed adhesive solution should be used within a short period after mixing
  • Available usage time: Refers to the duration during which the viscosity of the mixed adhesive solution doubles at 25°C under 100g conditions. Note that the adhesive solution must not be used after this operational time limit
  • Essential personal protective equipment (PPE), such as goggles, must be worn during the procedure to ensure personal safety protection.

Ensure you wear appropriate PPE
