Different Label, Same Product - Facts about Epoxy Resins - Beware of the various names under which epoxy resins are marketed, such as tabletop resin, concrete resin, wood sealer resin, and concrete sealing resin. While they may sound distinct, they all refer to the same essential product. This raises an important question: Is this approach misleading to consumers? Not exactly. It's a clever marketing tactic designed to help buyers find exactly what they need. By having multiple names for a product, companies can enhance their visibility in search results, ultimately increasing sales.

Different Label Same Product - Furthermore, naming a resin after its specific application boosts a company's credibility and authority in the epoxy resin market, which can be advantageous for consumers. However, it's crucial to note that not all suppliers are transparent. Some resin vendors in Auckland may not provide you with accurate details about their product's composition, focusing instead on making a sale. When selecting a resin supplier, choose one that prioritises honesty and quality—your project deserves nothing less! This is one of the reasons why you can trust products from Resin Wood Tables NZ that include the Resinzwood, Passionart, and Colour Passion products, as we know all the facts about the epoxy resins we sell and how each of them can be used. Resinzwood has helped many people across NZ after they have been led down the garden path of bullshit by other companies just after a quick buck. There are two other companies in NZ that I know have great products, but in these two cases, they are not quite up to par with our UV standards. I am in the resin business so that I won't name them. Sorry, Guys, but business is business. However, I have occasionally been asked by an odd person what I think of a particular company's product, and I am always honest. As for the companies I think are great, I believe they have good products, and I advise them on the differences, in one case coming down to additives and price.

Different Label Same Product - Resin Wood Tables NZ

Here at Resin Wood Tables NZ, also known as Passionart or Resinzwood, we offer products with a single name. Yet, they can be used for different types of applications, and I have named them accordingly to their best-intended purpose. Still, they each have applications that, in some cases, overlap with other products, which may have different finishes due to factors such as hardness or clarity.

Different Label Same Product - Here is an example with some of the different types of resin we stock, which can be used for multiple purposes. Each resin has been formulated with its specific blend, but they can all produce overlapping results of different types.

Resinzwood Ultrafast Resin - This resin is specifically designed to achieve the best finish on tabletops, as it cures in just four hours, boasts a D90 hardness rating, and is the hardest-wearing resin finish you will ever encounter. Uses include, but are not limited to, Laminating for boats and surfboards, and art and jewellery making, as well as seal coating timber with a cheat ingredient that can be used at home.

Resinzwood Crystal Clear - The crystal-clear resin was one of our first imported resins, which we have modified over the years to what it is today. This is a very versatile resin with numerous applications, including table and Bar top coating, jewellery making, precise pours, castings, river boards, all forms of resin art, such as geode boards, layering, and laminating, as well as floor effects.

Passionart 1:1 Art Resin - The primary use is for all forms of resin art, including tabletop, bar top finish coats, semi-deep pours, castings, and deeper moulds up to 50mm.

Passionart 2:1 Art Resin - The primary use is for all forms of resin art, including tabletop, bar top finish coats, semi-deep pours, castings, and deeper moulds up to 50mm. Some people prefer the 2:1 ratio over the 1:1, but they are similar in terms of the product's makeup.

Ultimate Doming Resin - Primarily to achieve a higher perspective and hold that is used for name badges and 3D appearance. This versatile resin is used for coating table and bar tops, jewellery making, precise pours, castings, river boards, and all forms of resin art, including geode boards, layering, and laminating.

Different Label, Same Product - The above is intended to illustrate the possible names we could use for each resin, but it will only confuse people, making it harder for them to decide which product to buy. If you are in doubt, please don't hesitate to email or call me. I am here to provide the best advice and guidance so that together we can achieve the best results for your projects.
